Dr. Xinye Xiao joined the advisory board of BOCG in May 2024. Dr. Xiao possesses over 10 years of experience in medical science research, clinical practice as a physician, entrepreneurial management, and venture capital investment. He brings a diverse perspective as a researcher, physician, entrepreneur, and investor.

Previously, Dr. Xiao served as an ophthalmologist in a large comprehensive tertiary hospital. He holds a bachelor's and master's degree in Clinical Medicine from Zhejiang University, as well as a Ph.D. in Physiology from Xiamen University. He is a licensed ophthalmologist and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Dr. Xiao has published numerous papers as the first author internationally and has been a co-recipient of the First Prize of Scientific Progress in Fujian Province.
